Manager, Client Development
Rivel is currently seeking a talented, self-assured Manager of Client Development to join our Rivel Banking Research division in a fully remote or hybrid capacity, if local to Westport, CT.

About You
The Manager of Client Development will lead the Rivel Banking Research sales team towards ambitious revenue goals. In this role, you will manage your own key accounts, own a sales territory, and manage a team of sales consultants (including advising on sales interactions for the entire team and aiding with sales opportunities). The Manager will be accountable for executing innovative sales strategies to expand market share and drive revenue growth through this management role.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the sales team and encourage their growth. Establish targets and track progress regularly.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director on sales strategy and own the management of the sales process, notably creation and maintenance of collateral.
- Create and execute sales strategies to generate revenue across the team.
- Track KPIs such as sales opportunities, total revenue by consultant, and activity through Salesforce.
- Iterate and optimize sales process and confirm best practices, relying on market trends.
- Manage own accounts and sales territory. Prospect new business within defined regions.
- Build strong client relationships and seek feedback to improve overall product offerings.
- Foster collaboration between Rivel Banking Research sales, internal operations, and marketing teams to support consistent improvement of the prospecting and sales process.
- Travel, when needed, to network, sell and/or present.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience as a primary salesperson and/or business development representative providing custom solutions
- Proficiency with MS Office
- A track record of driving results through collaborative sales and project management, and people management is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all internal and external interactions
- Comfort with, and confidence in, communicating with prospective clients
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and ready to learn the business through proactive problem solving and creative thinking
- Motivated to grow the Rivel Banking Research line of business through collaboration with colleagues and discerning recommendations

The range of base compensation for this position is a minimum of $80,000 to a maximum of $90,000, with opportunity for sales commission. Compensation for any employee in this position is adjusted based on skill, effort, responsibility, education, training, credentials, geographic location, working conditions and/or experience.
